Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation of Australia (EVF Australia) was launched in Sydney on Saturday, 15th May 2004. About 150 Sydneysiders attended the function. The Hon. Consulate General of India, Mr. Ganapathi was the chief guest for the function, who officially launched the organization.

Ekal Vidyalaya has been passionate about the eradication of illiteracy in rural and tribal India. To help eradicate this problem sponsor a school. Sponsoring a school does not cost thousands of dollars but only a mere $480 per year. If sponsoring a whole school is hard, than you can sponsor half a school or even one quarter of one.
